Come Play with Me

You know how it goes: it starts as mass chaos, but somehow it comes together into a beautiful heart-warming vignette of the Savior's birth. And isn't that what the life of Jesus Christ was about? Transforming lives?

How could you not get excited to take a step back in Jesus' time by stepping into different clothes? There was energy in the room when the pieces are passed out. And nothing that changes a person faster than a beard,

a weapon,

small woolly creatures,

and of course, fire!

Unless it's paint! And the lamp below was a hideous piece of home decor, until the Nielsen family turned it into an ancient clay pot.

And heavy-duty changes happened to our field last Saturday: a dozen dedicated men erected our stable, Hebrew home, and stage frames. Thanks guys!

And a heavenly bit of transformation: the first designs for our angel choir.

All angels must attend the Dec 1 rehearsal to learn 2 short songs, learn actions, and be fitted for costumes. The morning of our event, (Dec 11), angels should come for hairdressing at the church.

(Ah, so sweet! Makes you want to pull out the strawberries and whipped cream!)

Come transform yourself and be a part of the story we tell of the Savior's birth!
